A Short History

Hi my name is Chris Lewon, welcome to my business’ home on the internet. I am a Vehicle Cosmetic Improvement Specialist and here’s how I got here: I have been in business since January 1987. At first I did cleaning of medical offices and laboratories, carpet cleaning, window cleaning and eventually I did a lot of auto detailing which I came to love.

My customers would ask if I could do more than just clean vehicles. They would show me scratches, industrial fallout, acid rain, oxidized headlights, faded cracked and ripped leather, hard water mineral deposits on paint and glass, cigarette burns, curb damaged mag wheels, stains that no one else was able to remove, and poor previous paint jobs to name a few. And if one were to take such cosmetic damages for repairs at a body shop they would have to spend a small fortune.

Little by little I started taking on such jobs. I would do extensive research and sought out experts in the field, like Brodie Frost who helped one of his customers win a Best in Show at The Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, until I have acquired the skills necessary to successfully tackle most jobs that come my way. And now this is the majority of work that I do, cosmetic vehicle restoration.

I have literally worked on thousands of vehicles over the years and I intend to eventually put some of the ‘before and after’ pictures and customer comments on this website.

Speaking of this website, it is a work in progress by yours truly so please visit from time to time for updates. In the meantime I do appreciate your patience and understanding as I learn the art of website building, which may in fact be my biggest skill challenge yet.
